DESIGN DRIVEN
The original Narratè® editorial “beverage design” format was conceived by architect Adriano Giannini and licensed exclusively to Narrafood Edizioni, a small, unique and independent publishing house in Milan that directly manages its production and distribution. The publishing house is a destructured reality that selects and supervises the best suppliers with whom it carries out the production of Narratè® in Italy. It relies on the “design driven” approach, i.e. making innovative and strategic choices originating from creative processes, rather than from mere market logic.
COMMITMENT, PASSION, ENTHUSIASM
From a conceptual point of view, Narratè® could be defined as an emotional hourglass with three components: time (infusion/reading time), blends and stories. The time dedicated to infusion turns into a precious and gratifying experience through the quality, care and craftsmanship used for the other two components: (blends) the specific formulation of evocative and very high-quality blends for each title and (stories) the selection of the most suitable writers for each theme. All characterized by the utmost commitment, passion and enthusiasm.
GREAT TALENT AND A TOUCH OF SIMPLICITY
The selected authors are asked to grasp the ESSENCE of a territory, person or theme and to reproduce it in a simple but non-trivial way, so that it is truly useful, pleasant and within everyone’s reach. The stories are all unpublished and original, specifically written for the Narratè® format. The authors include, among others, Roberto Piumini (published by over 70 publishing houses), Valerio Magrelli (Einaudi), Ilaria Gaspari (Einaudi), Enrica Tesio (Mondadori), Gian Mauro Costa (Sellerio), Franco Bolelli (Sperling&Kupfer) and many others that you will discover by consulting the catalogue.
ORGANIC, HAND-MADE AND NEW, BUT, ABOVE ALL, VERY GOOD
The Narratè® blends are specifically designed for each story, so that the reading experience is rounded off by the flavour. This is why they are unpublished and exclusive, unique in the world. The ingredients are all organic and natural, of the highest quality, produced and packaged by hand, one by one, by a small Piedmontese farm, which makes them very good, healthy and sustainable. The organic blends are all provided with the ICEA certification. Each filter contains 2 g (ideal for an excellent cup of tea or herbal tea) herbal tea blend. The infusion time lasts 5 minutes, equivalent to the reading time of the connected stories.
A SMALL MADE-IN-ITALY EXCELLENCE
The printing is carried out by an Italian typography with FSC-certified recycled paper and cardboard. The small, non-standard format, the limited edition, the use of hot-stamped metal foils and fluorescent inserts for the covers, as well as the double binding (with 2 staples and gluing) require high competence and professionalism for such a small product. The assembly of the bag with the booklet, the last process step, is performed manually. Thus, the finished product is a small made-in-Italy excellence to be collected, title after title, once used. The new format also allows the tea bag to be refilled, which can be purchased individually, so that it can be “tasted and read” again, whenever desired.
